Gabi’s secret, even from herself, was that she was still in love with Grady Bricker even after he broke her heart when he left Nowhere, Arizona without saying goodbye. Eight years later, Grady is back and a deputy sheriff. He’s willing to do anything to win Gabi’s heart again and keep her safe.
Small towns are supposed to be safe. But with so many people leaving larger cities where taxes are high and crime is even higher; crime is on the rise. Locals aren’t happy with the new crowd of people invading their small town. Would they go so far as to set fire to unfinished houses and burglarize homes to deter people from moving to Nowhere? Is it a secret worth killing for?
After Gabi is attacked and the small town has its first murder in more years than most people can remember, Grady vows to find the person behind the crime wave before Gabi is hurt again. Is the same person committing these crimes? Or is something more sinister going on?
